Comments?

I've noticed a trend in the last year, no comments on our blog. There have been five in the first three months of this year across 16 blog posts. We used to get 5-10 comments per blog.

So I'm wondering why? I see other blogs about Ecuador that generate a lot of comments. Is ours less interesting, less informative? Should we continue blogging or let it drop?

Any and all input is appreciated! And yes, that means you will need to comment...please.

Ciao for now!

  5. Well, I guess it is nice to read about, but hard to relate to not be and expat.......understanding the culture. verses RV which many of us do partake of at least a few weeks a year.
Yes, it is interesting to read.

    1. Thanks for still dropping by....I know we have lost a lot of our old readers who are RVers. I find I only read a dozen or so RVing blogs anymore. I understand....

  8. Keep posting!!

I always find sending a comment very difficult. Have to do it twice most times so I mostly don't. Not just your blog.
    Love your blog!

  9. Hi Donna, I enjoy reading your posts. Cuenca is still on our radar and I really enjoy your writing style.
I am having the same situation with my blog. Only a few comments since the beginning of the year, yet my traffic has doubled.

  10. I rarely get comments on my blog any more. For me I finally decided who was I writing the blog for? Me? Family? Others? and Why to each of those as well. My answer was I write for me mostly but I love to get comments...good or bad, as long as there is no name calling or slamming of people.

I have tried to comment a few times on your blog but it always bounces back and says no can do...and I really haven't paid attention as to why, but then I just leave it. Figure it must not been important for me to post. And I am not sure this is going to post either. We will see.

    1. Long time no see, Ali! Hope all is well in your household. Thanks for taking time to comment. I have had others make the same complaint, not sure why. This one posted, keeping my fingers crossed that the changes I made help.
