Artesan: Enlatados Design

At the craft show yesterday, we met a nice young gentleman who is also extremely talented. He works in interior design but his passion is painting. His designs end up in his own business where he sells puzzles, pillows and scarves utilizing his designs.

I fell in love with the sugar skull pattern on his pillows and managed to track him down on Facebook. He offered to deliver the pillow today, how could I say no? ;)

Today he arrived with not only my pre-stuffed pillows but an armful of new designs he created on rectangular pillows (in two sizes). There were four designs all representing totems and reminded us of our time in Alaska. Well, we just had to have one of those, too!

We spent a little time chatting with Tiago (full name, Tiago Bedón Echeverría) and his work. I think we will be seeing more of his work around town, wonderful quality, reasonable prices and, oh yeah, make great gifts!

You can find his business on Facebook, Enlatados Design. Here are a couple of photos from his page.

Great Christmas gifts...or for anytime!
