A helping hand and a darn good time!

Howdy y’all!

Are you ready for a rip-roaring good time?! Well, round up the family and come join us in our first annual July 5th Barn Dance & BBQ.

Hearts of Gold is hoping to raise $5,000 from this event to help support the continued funding of our partner organizations in Cuenca.  Hearts of Gold currently works with 4 different foundations that are focused on helping disadvantaged children and abandoned seniors and is looking to YOU for support. The money raised from this fun July 5th event will go to help our programs and partners in backing fundamental program expenses, such as urgent building repairs, capacity building and training, mandatory government registration and continued rehabilitative care. Your participation in our BBQ event will give Hearts of Gold and our 4 partner organizations the support they need to become self-sustaining, and will help deepen our community connections throughout Azuay.

So come on down on Saturday, July 5th- we’re gonna have ourselves a great Barn Dance & BBQ  at Caballo Campana - a first-rate country hacienda complete with hay bales and horses. It’ll be fun for the whole family with live music, dancing, horseback rides, fireworks, and even a magic show! Adult tickets are $25 a piece, and kids 12 and under get in for just $10! Your ticket includes access to a hefty BBQ buffet, transportation to and from the event site, and a myriad of fun activities. $10 of every ticket sold will go to support the various Ecuadorian organizations that Hearts of Gold has partnered with. All proceeds from the cash bar and the split-the-pot raffle will be used to fund individual projects. Here’s a list of all the fun you can start looking forward too!

Hearts of Gold Foundation is a non-profit organization that's registered with the Ecuadorian government and is based in Cuenca. They work with already existing Ecuadorian foundations in and around the city who help children, youths, and elderly individuals who are impoverished or in need. They help these programs find volunteers and raise funds to finance the various outreaches they perform in the community.
